8th Annual Wig Out! Benefiting Wigs For Kids

Get ready to " Wig Out" for kids! The goal of the GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Midtown's annual Wig Out fundraiser is to raise funds and awareness for children who have lost their hair due to injury or illness. Donning their wildest wigs, members collect donations at participating Midtown establishments, staying for approximately 30 minutes in each location. Last year, we raised over $2000 for this wonderful organization!
All proceeds benefit Wigs for Kids, a nonprofit organization that, since 1981, has provided hair replacement systems and support for children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, burns and other medical issues at no cost to children or their families.
It costs $1,800 to produce one custom hair replacement system, and our goal every year is to raise at least that amount.The community can help by making a donation one of three ways:

Look for us between 5-8 p.m. at all your favorite spots in Midtown (We'll be the ones in wild wigs)!
